Christmas is still more than 5 months away yet our clients have already begun working with our brilliant design agency Clockworx and talking to us about new innovations. They want; no NEED to make sure THEIR window is the most attractive, exciting and appealing on the high street whilst they fight for every pound of disposable income in these tough times.

In-store communication using fantastic Point of Sale in the run up to the Christmas period must capture the imagination of often weary, overloaded shoppers in order to ensure their offerings stand out from the rest of the promotional ‘noise’.

One way in which stores are aiming to achieve this is using brand ‘experience’ events, or in-store theatre. The feeling for the shopper of walking through a promotion makes the whole shopping process more romantic, reaching out to more senses than just the visual. Using lights, on-screen media and sound (sometimes even smells) the aim is to get the shopper to buy into the whole experience with the ‘feel good effect’ and there’s no better time to do this that the wonderful sparkly Christmas period.

So far this year innovation has been at an all time high at SPS, we are very proud of our ‘Clarks Shop Window’ which is about to be released (this story will follow on the 22nd July ) involving cogs, bright attractive design and a whole host of fun. Of all the projects we do the innovative ones are the ones that keep SPS at the forefront for Point of Sale ideas.
